Learning From a Friend

I am a huge proponent of building wealth through real estate and it all started with Brad. Brad and I have known each other since elementary school and we have been the closest of friends for the past 25+ years. Brad and his wife’s first date was a double date with my wife and I. A year later Brad and Jennifer were getting married, with Brad moving into Jennifer’s house. Unlike most people, Brad did not sell his house and use the equity for a new car, extravagant wedding, or an outrageously expensive honeymoon. Instead, he rented out his house, which has led to owning dozens of properties across three counties.

It has been exciting to watch Brad build wealth through real estate over the last 15 years. Brad incorporates the BRRRR method (Buy, Rent, Rehab, Refinance, Repeat) into his real estate investment strategy. This strategy has allowed Brad to build his business with efficiency and consistency.

Over the years I have listened to Brad as he details his challenges, successes, and growth in real estate. Real estate has always been an interest of mine and I, therefore, took great interest in what Brad was doing. Upon becoming a real estate agent I started representing Brad and his business as he looked to grow his portfolio. To date, we have closed two deals together. The commission checks are always appreciated, but more than anything I have enjoyed growing our relationship and learning from Brad. Working alongside Brad as he tours a property, analyzes a deal, and negotiates offers is the best education I could have asked for as I look to venture into other avenues of real estate.
